My photographs are an expression of the beauty I see in the world.
I first discovered photography as a young child watching my father take pictures of just about anything with his Polaroid camera. I was fascinated watching those colors and shapes gradually fill the little page as the film developed right before my eyes! At 18, I went off to work in NYC and had the good fortune of befriending a professional photographer (Joe) whose day job was to run the print shop in our company. My dear friend, Andrea, and I both went out and bought 35mm cameras – mine a Miranda – and off we went on New York City explorations photographing just about everything like my father before me. Joe taught us about color, composition and movement. Over the years as I became busier and had a family, I moved on from my film camera to point and shoot cameras and eventually the iPhone. A few years ago, as I semi-retired from the busy corporate world, I purchased a Nikon digital camera and have been honing my craft ever since. My husband, sons and I love to travel and I look forward to sharing our adventures and my love of photography with you here. If you see a shot you like, check out my shop as it may be available for purchase. Thank you for visiting!
